About MAGNIFY FAMILY WELLNESSSpecialized perinatal & parenting therapy
I’m so glad you’re here
I am the founder of Magnify Family Wellness – a virtual private practice offering therapy to parents throughout Texas. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Texas, a wife, and a mom to three amazing and hilarious kids. I understand both professionally and personally that parenthood is one of life's most meaningful—and most challenging—roles. I created Magnify Family Wellness to help you find more meaning in the roles that matter most to you.
Throughout my career, I've worked with parents, children, adolescents, and families across hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, military settings, and private practice. I have advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PSI), as well as evidence-based treatments for anxiety, depression, trauma, and parenting concerns.
In addition to my clinical work, I previously served as a professor of psychology, where I taught and mentored future mental health professionals while staying closely connected to the latest research in psychological science. I’ve conducted research and published findings on resilience, parent-child relationships, and couple relationships because I believe lasting change comes from understanding the strengths of the whole family system – not simply focusing on what’s wrong.

About the practiceWhy I created Magnify Family Wellness
Magnify Family Wellness grew from a belief that excellent psychological care begins with strong science—and becomes meaningful when it is tailored to the person, their family, and their life.
My training taught me the value of evidence-based treatment. Becoming a mother taught me something equally important: real families rarely look like textbook examples. Family life unfolds within the realities of our relationships, histories, resources, and circumstances—and meaningful care needs to make room for all of it.
I created Magnify to bring those perspectives together - to offer care guided by an understanding of life beyond the therapy room.
The name Magnify began as an acronym for my research lab: Meaning And Growth Nurtured In Family and Youth. Today, it reflects what I hope therapy can do. We’ll address what feels hard, while also magnifying what is already there: your strengths, your relationships, your confidence, and your capacity for growth.
Because meaningful change shouldn’t end when the session does. It should ripple outward—into your life, your relationships, and the family you’re building.

About MY APPROACHWhat therapy will feel like
When parents feel better, families do better.
Research shows that supporting parents' mental health can strengthen parenting, improve family relationships, and promote healthier outcomes for children.
